What is CrossFit
CrossFit vs. Aspen/All American
So what is the difference? EVERYTHING!! All classes at CrossFit Native are run by a CrossFit Certified trainer. Our staff is educated and eager to help you reach your goals. Our short workouts are intense and effective! No more wandering around the gym not knowing what to do or how that machine works? The biggest thing CrossFit has to offer is the "family". Once you have poured yourself out in front of each other a bond forms, it is truly magical.
Who is CrossFit for?
Everyone! Everyone can enjoy the benefits from CrossFit workouts. Functional Movements are just that. Movements that we use in day to day life. I have seen children who CrossFit become the best in their sport; teenagers earn college scholarships because they are elite athletes; moms and dads enjoying life to the fullest and; seniors who have kept themselves out of nursing homes because they continued to stay active! At CrossFit Native we offer CrossFit and CrossFit Kids (Teens) classes.
Do Women CrossFit?
Yes! And you don't have to worry about getting big and bulky! Check out some of the pictures of women who CrossFit, they look very "Fit". We offer a Boot Camp 4 Women class for our female clients who are not comfortable working out with "the guys".
How do I get started?
At CrossFit Native we offer On-Ramp classes! It is our beginners class to CrossFit! A month long program designed to bring you up to speed. Upon completion you will be ready to join CrossFit classes.
World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:
The CrossFit Mindset
- I will promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day, from hour to hour, from minute to minute. But in that minute, I will do the very best that I can.
- Anything that opposes me is actually helping me to become stronger. If I had no opposition, I would be weak.
- If I can run, I run. If I have to walk, I walk. When I am forced to crawl, I crawl. And then I rest and live to fight another day.
- I fear no man but I fear my workout. If I don't fear my workout, it isn't hard enough.
- I may puke. I may cry. But I will not quit. Ever.
- I never cheat. There is no honor in cheating. What joy can there be in a victory I did not earn?
- The workout missed is the opportunity missed. I will not cheat myself of the opportunity to become a better athlete and person.
- I understand the value of the push-up, the pull-up, the sit-up, the squat, and the deadlift. There is million ways to squat, sit up, pull up, push up, and deadlift.
- I will give everything I have. And then I will find more within myself.
- I don't complain. Complaining is for crybabies. I will leave the crying to them and I will soldier on.
- I will bite off challenges, spit out results, and beg for more. What are you going to do?
